Say Plumb copper compression fittings
Compression fittings join copper pipe with no heat or solder: slide on the nut and olive (compression ring), push the pipe into the fitting and tighten – the olive squeezes onto the pipe to make a watertight seal. Ideal for repairs, geyser connections and anywhere a blowtorch isn’t practical.
- C = copper pipe end. MI = male BSP thread. FI = female BSP thread.
- Size is the copper pipe outside diameter; “15mm × ½”” means 15mm pipe to ½” thread; “22 × 15mm” is a reducer from 22mm to 15mm pipe.
- Spare olives and cap nuts are listed too – always fit a new olive when remaking a joint.
