Say Plumb copper capillary fittings
Solder-type copper fittings for copper water pipe – clean, flux and heat the joint and solder flows into it. Used for geyser, hot-water and permanent concealed installations.
- C = copper pipe end. MI = male BSP thread, FI = female BSP thread (to connect to a tap, valve or geyser).
- Size is the copper pipe outside diameter; “15mm × ½”” means 15mm pipe to ½” thread; “22 × 15mm” reduces from 22mm to 15mm pipe.
- Slip couplers have no internal stop, so they slide along the pipe – use them to repair a burst section.
- Crossovers let one pipe jump over another where two runs cross.
