HellermannTyton cable ties
HellermannTyton cable ties are a trade standard. The code tells you the size: T18R is small and light, while T120R is long and heavy-duty.
How to choose
- Length – the tie must go around the bundle with some tail to spare.
- Width – wider ties hold more. Use T50 or T120 for heavy bundles, solar cables and outdoor fixing.
- Colour – use black ties outdoors and in sunlight, because they resist UV. Standard/white ties are for indoor use.
